City Hall
Blue Lake’s City Hall is centrally located. City Council meetings take place at the old Skinner Store behind City Hall. Blue Lake is governed by a five member council with one member chosen annually to serve as mayor.

Library
The Blue Lake Branch of the Humboldt County Library (established, 1915) is located next to Blue Lake City Hall. Open Wednesdays from 2 – 7 and Saturdays from 11 – 4. Free WiFi and a public computer are available.

Public Transportation
