Thank you to all who participated in the pie contest during the Mad River Hoedown Barn Dance, sponsored by the Blue Lake Chamber of Commerce. The 2nd annual holiday tree decoration and lighting was on Saturday 12/8. Special thanks to Keith and Mariel Morison for providing hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies for this new Blue Lake tradition. Thanks to the Blue Lake Saddle Club for the beautifully lit pony cart rides! The tree is located in the greenbelt across from Blue Lake City Hall.

Owner, Kate Martin, inspired by a bar in Dublin, Ireland, has decorated the Logger Bar in an over-the-top style! Every space is festooned with ornaments and lights. After a long day of shopping, come to the Logger Bar for a holiday cocktail and feast your eyes with all the delights. Be sure to take in the beautiful lights down Chartin Road to the Blue Lake Casino and Hotel to get yourself in the holiday spirit! 

The Blue Lake Chamber of Commerce has created beautiful holiday swags and will be selling them as a fundraiser for our organization. A beautiful full moon evening at Pacific Dental Hygiene Practice was the setting for the recent Blue Lake Chamber mixer. Perigot Park was the site for Blue Lake’s first Pastels in the Park. Businesses and organizations could purchase a sidewalk square to decorate. There was a play zone for kids, food and drinks. The event was sponsored by the Blue Lake Chamber of Commerce with Blue Lake Parks and Recreation. The money raised will help BL Parks & Rec in future projects. Local entrepreneur, Sarah Finestone, did the artwork for the Blue Lake Chamber square. 

Looking for sunshine, music and activities for all ages? Come to the 51st annual Annie & Mary Day Celebration in Blue Lake on Sunday, July 8th. The fun begins at 8am with the Grange breakfast.
