On Sunday, June 29th as part of the 2014 Blue Lake Rising program and the Mad River Festival, and directly following the Clowns Without Borders performance there was a free celebration in which Blue Lake was unveiled as the center of the universe.

Blue Lake Rising is a re-granting program funded by a grant from ArtPlace America and focused on giving community members a voice on art projects, civic events, and public performances to enhance the great community lifestyle enjoyed in Blue Lake.
